How INC Coins Work: Gifting, Earning and Cashing Out on Witspeak

What an INC coin is worth, how listeners buy and gift them, how creators cash out from 1,000 coins, and how to earn without losing your audience's trust.

INC coins are the currency inside Witspeak. Listeners buy them, gift them to the creators they love, and creators turn them into real money. This guide explains how the whole loop works, what a coin is worth, how to cash out and how to earn in a way that keeps your audience coming back.

What an INC coin is

An INC coin is a small token of appreciation with a real value attached. 1 coin is roughly 10 cents in US dollar terms. Listeners buy coins in bundles inside the app and spend them by gifting. Creators receive the coins on their channel balance and can cash them out once they reach the minimum.

Think of it as a tip jar built into the listening experience. There is no subscription to manage and no paywall between you and your audience. People gift because they want to.

How listeners buy coins

  • Open the Witspeak app and go to your wallet from your profile.
  • Pick a coin bundle. Bundles are priced through the App Store or Google Play, so the exact price depends on your country and currency.
  • Coins land in your wallet straight away.

Because coins are bought through your app store account, refunds for accidental purchases follow the store's own process first. If something looks wrong on the Witspeak side, email [email protected] with the date and amount and the team will look into it.

How gifting works

You can gift coins in two places:

  • On a Channel. During a goLive session or a pre-recorded broadcast, tap the gift icon in the live chat, choose an amount and send. The creator sees it instantly, and so does the room. Gifts during a live session often come with a shout-out, which is half the fun.
  • On a voice feed. Under any 30-second Speak feed on your timeline, tap the gift icon to thank the person who made it. Small gifts on feeds add up quickly for creators who post daily.

Every gift is logged in your wallet history, so you always know where your coins went.

How creators earn

This is the Earn on Channel feature. Every coin gifted to your channel or your feeds goes into your creator balance. There is nothing to switch on. The moment you have a channel, you can receive gifts.

A few numbers to keep in mind:

  • 1 coin is roughly 10 cents.
  • The cash-out threshold is 1,000 coins, which is about 100 dollars.
  • Your balance is visible in the app under Earn on Channel, with a history of every gift and who sent it.

Cashing out

Once your balance passes 1,000 coins, you can request a payout.

  • Go to Earn on Channel and tap Cash out.
  • Choose a payout method from the options shown in the app. The available methods depend on your country, so the app only shows what works for you.
  • Confirm your details. The first payout may involve an identity check, which is a one-time step.
  • The app shows an estimated arrival time for the method you picked.

Your identity must be real. Payouts are made to the person who owns the account, under their legal name. Fake identities, borrowed accounts and payout details belonging to someone else are grounds for the balance to be withheld and the account closed. This protects creators too, because it is what stops someone else cashing out your coins.

Refunds and disputes

  • Accidental coin purchases: start with the App Store or Google Play refund process, then email [email protected] if you need help.
  • A gift sent to the wrong person: email [email protected] as soon as you notice, with the gift details. Reversals are not guaranteed, but the team will do what they can.
  • A payout that has not arrived: check your payout method details in the app first, then contact support with the payout date.
  • Suspected fraud or coin manipulation: report it to [email protected]. Every case is reviewed by a person.

Earning ethically

Gifting works because it is voluntary. Creators who treat it as a tip jar rather than a toll booth earn more over time. Some principles that hold up:

  • Never pressure anyone. Thank people who gift, but do not shame people who do not. Most of your audience will never gift, and that is fine.
  • No fake scarcity. Do not invent countdowns, fake goals or made-up emergencies to drive gifts.
  • No pay-for-favours. Gifts cannot buy votes, moderation decisions or anything that would be unfair to other listeners.
  • No self-gifting or coin rings. Buying coins to gift to yourself, or coordinating with others to game the system, is detected and leads to withheld payouts.
  • Be transparent. If a gift goes to a cause or a collaborator, say so.
  • Deliver value first. Live sessions with real conversation, daily voice feeds people actually wait for, a Voice bio that tells people who you are. The gifts follow the work.

Practical tips for creators

  • Mention gifting once per live session, warmly, and then move on.
  • Read out gifters' names. People like being seen.
  • Post consistently. Daily Speak feeds keep you on timelines, and feeds are where many first-time gifts happen.
  • Use reSpeak to share other creators' work. Generosity is contagious, and it builds the kind of community that gifts.
  • Keep your payout details current so the first cash-out is painless.
